    Another Birthday!

Thursday, July 17, 2008, 12:14 AM MST [General]

Well, another birthday has come and gone. I love birthdays contrary to what others might feel about their birthdays. I just wish I had somewhere and someone to celebrate with besides my parents. I love them, but I feel old around them. Good thing I'm headed off to Santa Fe again next weekend. I hope to be able to celebrate many things by then. I'm getting closer to my goal of moving there. I hope to know before this weekend. We'll see. Until then, Have a great July. I'll try and write more again soon. ~

PS/ I got two black male ,short haired kittens for my birthday...a present to myself. I named them Magick & Mystic to be companions to my older cat, Merlin. I love watching them play.

End of May & A New Beginning

Wednesday, May 28, 2008, 11:33 AM MST [General]

I know it's been awhile since I posted. I've taken a trip to Santa Fe looking for a job and passing out my resume. I did get an in person interview as well as a followup phone interview. The place I interviewed with isn't really where I want to be, so I'm not worried about following up with them. I've taken so many jobs in the past that where just because they wanted me and not the other way around, that this time, I'm being picky and looking for a place I can call home. I don't want to be looking for another job again.

I also found out that a friend of a friend has his home up for sale in Santa Fe....it's a strawbale home on 2.5 acres of land....this is my dream come true....I haven't called him yet, I'm waiting for one of my investments to come through....any day now.... It has to be meant to be....everything is slowly falling into place.

I had a horrible bout of Vertigo over a  week ago. I was down for two days not being able to get up out of bed...even the bed was spinning. I took lots of Ginger and echinacea and Vit C and got Chiropractic adjustments for my neck. I finally got myself back up. I'm still having a few moments here and there that are dizzy, but nothing major. My sister in California, has had Vertigo for a week and a half...my parents went out there to take care of her and to take some herbs for her. Her husband doesn't lift a frickin finger to help her. This morning, my sister called me and she was feeling better and able to get out of bed and walk around and take a shower. My other sister here in town is ok, but a handyman that was working on her kitchen, came down with Vertigo last week also. I've heard that alot of people are experiencing this. It makes me wonder if there is some sort of airborne government experiment that is happening. I just saw a preview for a movie coming out next week that covers something like this. It's scarey to think we are just guinnea pigs for the government.

Well, I'm here at the office alone today. The Doctor didn't have anyone scheduled, so she is staying home. I'm just doing junk work.  I'm counting down the days to the weekend and my paycheck. Have a Blessed Day! ~Caroline

    Beltaine is Coming! Hide Me!

Tuesday, April 22, 2008, 02:47 PM MST [General]

Well, April is almost over...it's already 5 months into the year...I'm really getting excited about Santa fe...I'm feeling a stronger pull now...it will happen any day and I'll get word.  The house I want has come down in price...good omen.... It's already hitting in the 90's here...very hot.... I'm so over the heat. I haven't made any plans for Beltaine. I've been a loner for quite a few years now. I don't have anyone to share my faith with, so I go it alone. I've gone to a few get togethers but I still feel outside the loop. When I get to Santa fe, I'm going to create my own place and invite others to come there.

    Until then, Blessed Be ~Caroline

March is almost gone and April's around the corner

Saturday, March 15, 2008, 05:10 PM MST [General]

I can't believe how fast this month went! I've been working and looking for jobs in Santa fe but getting no responses yet. I feel optimistic though...I just know....

We have a swarm of bees that took up residence in our Oleander bush in the driveway of our house...of course, right where I park my car! My mom called around to about 10 exterminators/bee removal services...they all wanted anywhere from $150-$300 to kill the bees....we didn't want the bees killed, so I went on line and found a guy that works for a pest control place that will take down the bees and donate them to a beekeeper for $125. He came over within the hour and took them away within 15 minutes. We felt like we had done our good deed for the day.

We're supposed to have rain tomorrow and Monday...I need to go through my storage shed out back and go through some more boxes and transfer items from cardboard to the plastic storage containers. The cardboard is breaking down, and some rain got into the shed and on my boxes. I also don't want any insects or roaches to come along with me when I move. Walmart's got some good prices on containers. I think I need about 10-12 more containers.

My dad's been having a bad few days...he has trouble  remembering and following directions. Today, he was taking his false teeth out alot and I found out after looking at his gums that they were irrated and pussy...I put tea tree oil on the gums and took his teeth away to soak....last night instead of leaving his false teeth out, he put them back in and went to bed with them in. I'm hoping that by leaving the teeth out and putting tea tree oil and using a rinse that his gums will be better Monday. It's hard having him not be able to follow directions. He also gets so tired...his heart is ok, so I think it's the Alzheimer's...with it killing off the brain, one day, his brain may not tell him to breathe...it's frustrating.

I put together a care package for a friend of mine in Albuquerque that doesn't have a job and needs food. I hate sending so much junky carbs, but the staples are noodles, crackers, peanut butter, spagetti sauce, popcorn, and velveta cheese...I hope he's able to get assistance soon.

I have faith that the God & Goddess will watch over me and guide me to my next destination. I have so much to offer and so many to help heal.

    Until next time...Blessed Be

    Imbolc & Candlemas are Here!

Thursday, January 31, 2008, 03:07 PM MST [General]

I can't believe that January is already gone! February is the beginning of a new chapter for me. I'm re-affirming my goals and have set many things in motion for my move to Santa Fe, NM. I'm packing up all my loose items and am getting ready to load up a truck and go. I'm planning for April. I haven't heard back from any resume's that I sent out yet, but I feel that something good will be ready for me when I am. I've mentally let go of my connection to staying here . I know my parent's will be fine and I'll only be an hour flight away. I'm looking for apt's that take both a cat and a dog...they are hard to find...weight restrictions...my cat alone weighs 23 pounds! My dog, 45 pounds....Next will be the job making lots of money....I'm lighting my candles for abundance as we speak! The God and Goddess are mighty and their love for me is pure and overflowing. I deserve love and happiness and an abundance of money. For those offended by including Candlemas with Imbloc, just realize I'm Irish, but I believe in the power of Candle magic and am not praying to the Virgin Mary...I'm praying to all Goddesses out there for their strength and courage to help me achieve my goals. I'm not a newbie...I've been a witch all my life, just practicing for 16 years.

    Blessings!

He'ar he'ar, Though I am not giving myself over to be a middle aged prodigy - but YES!!!We should follow a dream and encourage our inner light to shine.

You should buy yourself one of those small portable keybords that roll up and keep practicing. The sounds will be beautiful when you play for you new home.
